Welcome to the George Washington University’s Electronic Theses and
Dissertations (ETD) website. Virginia Tech has had an international leadership role in ETD initiatives since the 1980s, leading to its January 1, 1997, mandate that graduate students submit their theses and dissertations online. There have been a good number that were filled in by hand, and some of the information, like names and emails, is illegible. There are awards available for outstanding ETDs. We want to see you graduate.

Electronic Thesis and Dissertation (ETD) has been promoting graduate student
success at WVU since 1998. A joint project of the Graduate School, Peabody College, and the Jean & Alexander Heard Library. Virginia Tech has had an international leadership role in ETD initiatives. With Vireo, the TDL’s electronic thesis and dissertation (ETD) submission and management system, students at member institutions can submit digital theses and dissertations via a simple online interface, while graduate offices can manage the ETD submission and approval process behind the scenes.
